How Do You Stay Relevant in an AI-Driven Economy?
Because the question isn't whether work is changing. It's what you do about it.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
Not because AI is new or because every company seems to be talking about it. Mostly because I’ve been noticing the same questions coming up again and again in conversations with professionals across different industries.
Some people are actively looking for their next role. Some are worried about layoffs. Others are doing well in their current position but can’t shake the feeling that the ground is shifting beneath them.
The common thread is uncertainty.
The reality is…….
People aren’t necessarily asking how to become AI experts. They’re trying to understand something much more practical:
How is work changing?
Which skills are becoming more valuable?
What should I be paying attention to?
If I had to compete in today’s job market, would I be ready?
I've heard these questions from UX researchers and designers, marketers, operations professionals, government employees, product teams, customer experience leaders, administrators and many more. Different industries. Different roles. Similar concerns.
These aren’t easy questions to answer. The amount of information out there can be overwhelming, and much of it feels disconnected from the realities of everyday work.
That’s one of the reasons we’re hosting Upskill AI: Repositioning for the New Economy.
This isn’t a workshop about chasing the latest AI trend. It’s a chance to step back, make sense of what’s happening, explore practical ways AI can support your work, and think more intentionally about where you want to go next.
This workshop may be a good fit for you if:
You’ve been wondering whether you’re focusing on the right skills for the future.
You’ve thought of experimenting with AI tools but aren’t sure where to start.
You’re considering a career move and want to understand how the market is evolving.
You’re feeling overwhelmed by the amount of AI advice online and want practical guidance instead.
You want to learn alongside other professionals who are asking similar questions.
My hope is that you’ll leave with something many of us are looking for right now: a little more clarity and a little more confidence about where to focus next.
At the end of the day, most of us don’t need more noise. We need a better understanding of what matters and where to focus our energy.
If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to join us.
